    I’m on chapter 420 now and I got an important question. Does the author ever get good at writing how mc handles slavery? Because it’s something that’s come up multiple times and it’s just ends with mc having a tantrum and then explaining how he’s different from others and just wants to be treated like equals.

    Can anyone tell me why therea 1012 chapters but only 999 chapters?

      Some of the 1012 are "intermissions" or short snippets of side-character action. So there are actually 1012 chapters to read, but only 999 are (mainly) about the main character.

        its because tbe intermission chapters are labled different so one chapter is say chapter 198 and then there's an intermission then the next chapter is 199, so 2 chapters have passed but 3 are posted if thaf makes sense
