Summary

Lu Zhou wakes up to become the world’s most powerful and oldest villainous Patriarch, and finds that he has nine notorious disciples who are full of evil. His eldest disciple is the leader of the Nether Sect with thousands of minions, and his second disciple—Sword Devil—always slaughters others at the slightest disagreement…
Without his cultivation base, how will he handle these evil disciples?
His eldest disciple, Yu Zhenghai, said, “I’ve never had a rival in my life, and no one but Master can make me bow my head.”
His seventh disciple, Si Wuya, said, “We can’t eat or sleep in peace as long as the Master is not dead!”

His ninth disciple, Yuan’er, said, “I’ll remember what Master said and be a good person.”

        - I didn't like the ending ( I felt like it was rushed ) - I didn't like the final battle - The story the majority of the time is essentially just MC's enemies underestimating the MC, just to lose easily (gets kinda old)

Finally got to the end of this novel... The journey are great although author left some mystery around some characters also the system, and the ending are a bit disappoinment. still enjoy reading this novel. 8/10

This novel although quite generic in some parts and ways, left quite an impression and imprint on me because of the family relationship he kinda develops with his disciples and the other members that join his sect throughout the novel. Plus the poem in the beginning chapters about his disciples just hit

Thoroughly enjoyed the first 600 or so chaps (first major arc). The teacher trying to bring his powerful wayward students under control was well written, though mc depends way too much on system items. I think the end of that arc was a good place to stop, because after that I gradually lost interest. It's just generic fighting more powerful new enemies, DBZ cr*p. The students who were very independent have just been relegated to side characters who the MC is hard carrying now, and it doesn't help that any potentially challenging scenario is just solved by using a death card. I don't feel any stakes at this point. The world building is interesting (regarding lotuses), but the characters in the later parts are just not interesting enough to carry forward the story.
