My Disciples Are All Villains

I love this novel, I’ve followed it since it had 400 chapters. Very strong and unorthodox characters, interesting world development, and engaging fights. Some plot convenience but it’s explained away through the system, and people complain about the system but honestly once it goes away everything starts to go downhill. Instead of being the only ones who know about the mc’s limitations and tricks, we just have to follow along while he destroys everyone because of how op he is. And I’ll say it, the ending is not good. I would give the first 1700 chapters an 8.5/10, and the first 1000 or so (before black lotus) are outstanding. Worth reading just for the mc and his disciples, and strong interactions between the side characters. But I left off wondering what happened to the author and why they had to end it that way.

I feel like the author was really veering off at the end wth. Tbh the ending made me feel so desolate, like the longer this light novel went on, the more it didn’t make sense 💀. It was good and I kept reading regardless of how bad it was getting but I just genuinely got bored nearing the end. It feels like the author wrote a lot of b*llsh*t to end everything 😭 tbh even before with the power scaling where the mc could be like 2 realms above someone and he attacks them and then they only cough out blood everytime is just crazy. He needs like 20 palm seals to defeat everyone 💀 in ‘I am the fated villain’ gu changge would’ve used one palm seal and turned someone into blood mist. Nah even the power from their realms seems underwhelming, like just the shockwaves alone should destroy and kill everything in their surroundings but all it does is manages to destroy some mountains, plus there are a lot of plotholes that kept me reading but then the questions never found their answers

Finished Oct 10 9:07. I just have one question, can anyone explain to me the ending. It's kinda confusing and its kinda giving a hint that there's a possibility of having season 2?? The poem that the nineth deciple recommend for their future deciple is like the season 2 ( next generation?) Please someone enlighten me. I tried to search it on google and check reddit but they said that there's no explanation from the author but that reddit post was 2 years ago. If anyone knows any update regarding this please help me.

How can u guys complete novel so fast Like they have 2000 chapters and yet most of u guys have already read 4 or 5 novels I can only read 10 chapters maximum in a single day Can anyone care to explain me how u guys binge read novels

Suprised it enter top 100. It is one of my favorite, the comedy is good and the average shenanigan of chinese novel is there,(faceslapping,bragging) contain some good quotes too. Sad no romance development at all across 1800 chapter, but thats normal because the mc is potrayed as an old man(even though there are candidates, lan xihe/princess mulberry). The plot is average enjoyable, Sometime im back rereading this novel for comedy, like "who let him cultivate immortality".

Very good but I didn't like the ending I finished it on 26/08/2024

I was holding for so long to not finish it. Well, finished august 7 2024 In my sincerer opinion, this novel is exactly what I was always looking for. Mc goes directly to the point and don't waste a lot of chapters for a small thing. I love all the disciples, they're amazing and they have their own personality, my favorites is yu shangrong, si wuya and yuan'er :) Mc is absolute peak, he's the op type that I love and he's also hot. My rating: Fights 9/10 (if this was the manhua I'd give it a 10) Story 8.5/10 this is a reincarnation and revenge with a system, kinda generic but the way it was built was amazing for me. Plot 8/10 i normally don't analyze everything but the ending was not that bad I didn't like the cliffhanger, gave me hope that would have more. Also, this novel don't have much details about characters and other things. But I like it that way, too much detail is very boring for me. This novel made me cry a lot, so I really like it. Have fun reading.

I dropped it at chapter 1100. It’s an okay novel but very generic. I’m curious about the void, but the MC’s arrogance makes it hard to continue. He’s worse than some third-rate young masters I’ve seen. The master-disciple relationship is also quite disappointing. The story sometimes gets so repetitive that it feels like the author is mocking me, and other times it just feels random. The thing I dislike the most is how every situation and problem seems to be created just so the MC can show up at the last moment, one-shot all the enemies, and get praised for the rest of the chapter. It gets so boring and predictable that I skip most of the fights until the MC appears.
