It was perfect. A captivating and amazing series. I read for days without stopping. However, it's a shame that I can't say the finale was "perfect. " Author, are you aware of what you've put me and all the readers of this series through? Imagine working on a thousand-piece puzzle for months, only to find out the last piece is missing, and that piece is right in the center of the image. . . So frustrating! Since I just finished the series and the emotions from the ending are still fresh, I can't find much else to say. But for those considering reading it, you can check out the manga to get a better understanding of the plot. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND READING IT.

I was holding for so long to not finish it. Well, finished august 7 2024 In my sincerer opinion, this novel is exactly what I was always looking for. Mc goes directly to the point and don't waste a lot of chapters for a small thing. I love all the disciples, they're amazing and they have their own personality, my favorites is yu shangrong, si wuya and yuan'er :) Mc is absolute peak, he's the op type that I love and he's also hot. My rating: Fights 9/10 (if this was the manhua I'd give it a 10) Story 8. 5/10 this is a reincarnation and revenge with a system, kinda generic but the way it was built was amazing for me. Plot 8/10 i normally don't analyze everything but the ending was not that bad I didn't like the cliffhanger, gave me hope that would have more. Also, this novel don't have much details about characters and other things. But I like it that way, too much detail is very boring for me. This novel made me cry a lot, so I really like it. Have fun reading.

Overall great and enjoyable read but I'm not fully satisfied with the ending. In the beginning it was well-written however towards the ending it felt rush and anticlimactic. Most of the characters are memorable and the comedy is one of the best if encountered so far.

My my was it a good ride🥹🥹 Absolutely loved it!! The translation is pretty good. I loved the character development and considering there are many key characters except the protagonist the author did a good job 👍

It truly astounds me how highly this novel is rated. Make no mistake, it’s an interesting read that won’t bore you, but the plot holes and poor writing is just too abundant. How can you make an 1800+ chapter novel about transmigration and not explain how mc transmigrated once? Author also doesnt understand the concept of foreshadowing or setting up plot devices BEFORE he needs to use them, so you’re left wondering “why have I never heard of this until now” for the millionth time. Some say the lore is extensive, but it isn’t. Most of the ancient Saint slayers aren’t explained in depth unless author needs to introduce one for plot convenience. The system is never explained despite being the sole reason why Lu Zhou gets stronger and can get treasures out of nowhere. Many massive plot threads left not only completely unexplained but even untouched, which is astounding for an 1800+ chapter novel. As a reader, you never truly understand what’s happening because the author will spring plot conveniences out of nowhere and Si Wuya will once again go “I’ve always known” when we’ve never seen that he knew it beforehand. While the fights are interesting, because mc never EVER struggles, you’re left wondering “when will mc beat this guy” thus removing all stakes and tension. The cultivation system is never touched, much less expanded upon past the NDT stage, so we never now HOW Lu Zhou cultivates, just that he cultivated for x amount of time. The worst part is the ending. Just like the many chapters before it, it felt like author was making it up as he went; it’s even worse that, instead of tying up all loose ends and explaining to the reader all the major important plot devices (no spoilers) it just ends on a cliffhanger. Another terrible point of the novel is the translation. It’s evident that however this novel got on this platform, it was the result of multiple different translations, some substantially worse than others. There’ll be a good chunk of times that you’ll even have to skip a chapter because of the nonsensical translation, and this happens FOR THE BIGGEST FIGHT OF THE ENTIRE NOVEL. Only read if you want to turn your brain off and not care about quality of writing (which, at that point, watch a shonen anime).

This is a truly one of the most exciting cultivation novels that I have seen. The seen where the mc finally fight against the feather clans and slaughters everyone is truly epic. There are many such moments in the story. And the ending leaves you hanging. Would recommend to anyone.

Overall, the stories are extensive, and the lore is really deep, for those who like this sort of stuff; Great, you'll like this novel. However, for those less enthusiastic about spending at least 20+ hours on this novel, which you will most likely never get back, try the manga, you might like it. (This is from personal experience, your results may differ) One of the major things that either makes it or breaks it for most readers of this novel is the sheer amount of characters, abilities, lore, locations, relationships, etc. It's to be expected from a 1700+ Chapter novel but this takes it to another level. Again, you might like a deep and compelling world, good for you. But for the majority of us, after you pass the 1000-ish chapter mark, it's hard to remember all the names, especially because while there is a wiki, the documentation barely covers anything past the 400 chapters mark (idk, haven't checked in a while). WARNING: If you do start reading this, and finish a good portion, DO NOT DROP IT, you WILL forget the character names, relationships, positions, roles, abilities, lore, and IT WILL BE *EXTREMELY* CONFUSING in the later chapters.

It is truly a great novel. The characters are diverse and memorable in their own way, they aren't too deep or perfectly fleshed out, but they all serve their own purpose. At times the world might not make sense, but it is truly well intertwined. As cultivators would say, we are but frogs at the bottom of a well, thinking that the small sky above us is all there is. The plot is complex, to say the least, but the more you read the more you understand. My only complaint would be the grammar that suffered due to the translation, the translation is not consistent, but this issue can be easily overlooked when taking into account the rest of this novel. An aspect that is often overlooked and that I found myself appreciating more and more, was the buildup. While reading, I couldn't escape from this feeling of tension, the further I delved, the more I felt the end approaching, one step at a time. It was difficult to read when I knew that it would eventually end, I am both happy and sad that I've completed it. Some fellow readers have complained about the "rushed" and "unsatisfying" ending, saying that the origins are still unclear. However this is false, if they actually read the novel, they would discover that the main character's origins are revealed and that all other main story points are wrapped up. Except the main character's relation to Earth. Nevertheless, there is a cliffhanger at the end. It does leave the reader a bit unsatisfied but it also leaves room for interpretation and a possible continuation. I really hope you will give this a try, it might not be for you, but I really wish you can enjoy this journey as much as I did. Thank you
