Although the translation still sucks but it is minimal (unlike others worse translation), and can be ignored. because the story IS SOOO GOOOD. if you see other review comments like "the story sucks" then ignore them, the only cons in this story is like i said not good translation but it is so minimal that only 1 to 10 words (and not sentence) are bad. Maybe the translator for this is not good at grammar and they didn't proofread. Anyway highly recommended

Gem Cat is my favourite female character, next to the hardworking Ling It was a very fun read, I'm very grateful to have the fortune to read this wonderful novel, thank you Author, you really worked hard

Not the best, but good enough to read till finish. I like it so much to write review but not enough for 5 star, maybe im just too picky about it

Absolutely terrible translation in the later chapters but it doesn't matter because its peak anyways. Overall great cultivation novel with a very fun shameless protag

Reading this just right after let me game in peace feels better, this is how you should treat you companion, not just blindly sending them to death, all the pet he ever contracted stay with him through it all, even though better pet show up the older one was never forgotten. Its like how when you play rpg game you're given a 1* character, even though you got those fancy 5* ssr character you never let go of that 1* starter character. Wish they could do the epilogue that cover more about the shi yu past tho On another note, translation is between readable-okay

The translation is horrible, the battles boring and the plot repetitive. However, it is still the best pet cultivation novel ever. I highly recommend it.

I loved the story. A great main group with some nice side characters. It’s well paced except for accelerating in the later stages of the novel

What a great story! Finally a protagonist who has a cheat code but does not get overpowered by enemies. Only take action when he's prepared. Love the character development of the pets. Can't really ask for more as the ending was good enough for me.

it's really slow and mc is already overpowered so story is boring and predictable. as someone who caught up with shadow slave this is not something I would read but if someone who wants a likes overpowered mc and a slow paced story can read it

One of the best, if not the best beast taming novel that I have read. The pacing is great, the translation is greater than most novels that I read, there's some errors in tl but it is still understandable. The connection and interaction between the pets and the mc is great, they introduced characters that they still use later on and not forgotten, there's no weird racist remarks, no overly arrogant villainous side characters that is only there for a slap in the face moment of the mc, no annoying female lead that lingers around the mc like a leach so no cliche romance, and the mc does not have dumb arrogance, he's smart and works hard in using his talents to improve himself and his pets.
