    I mentioned this a while ago, but I wanted to know something before I go back to it. Is Kira (the fox) still an enemy of the MC, or is she more integrated with him?

    I read through the entire thing, haven't been more disappointed in a novel, the MC is absolutely Horrendous.

      I blame the last 1-2 arcs. At least before i think the author knew that this became a sm*t novel and just kept at it. But during this past 2 arcs he wanted to make it all mean more then it was supposed to and it came out of nowhere. To make certain things make sense and implement this new "story" He keeps asking us to suspend our sense of disbelief over and over. All the character have to either become unlucky or stupid out of nowhere. The moment he strted randomly killing off the support characters for no reason and with no meaning i already could see the writing on the wall. But during the war arc i kinda shelved this dogshit and am just sometimes peeking at the comments here. And sometimes ask if there is any change. Oh and the reason i am flaming so much is becauss the s t ory made us care for like 500 600 chapters and THEN decided to do a 180 for the story

        You are asking me who should i ask i stoped at 704 Edit: 804. Nvm then. These past few arcs ESPECIALLY the war were utter dogshit. You know the kind of stupidity you see in third rate villains to make the hero look smart? Well we got that treatment for the main cast

        You know i think its ironic how the author burned all the characters growth to the ground and then at the end of chapters kept living coments like: oh my, who could have seen this coming, who do you think that is and what not. And it all was to introduce ANOTHER fling mcgufin without awnsering or resolving anything from before. Apperantly characters we thought were good are now bad and bad are now good without ANY rime or reason

    From where I see it even if Cedric got a second chance and was reborn, like went back in time to when he was still a human kid I won't be shocked if like, the same outcome occurred cuz from what I'm seeing it doesn't look like he knows how to take full advantage of stuff

      What chapter are you at? Cuz if you're still pretty early on I can tell you but I'm only caught up until 741 so i dont know if you're talking about something else. Are you asking about the ring that supplies him mana and power?

        Yes I’m definitely earlier than you, I mean does he get actually mana pathways or does he need his ring to be activated and provide them for him.

        If I remember correctly he gets mana. The ring was just to help him regulate and control it at the start. I don't remember the chapter but it happens during the quest where anyone under 100 years old can join.

    Alright, I am now on the current chapters. And I can safely say that the author is now remembering what made this novel great, though I had to read through the Bloodburn seige arc guess to get there. That was pure t*rt*r*. Edit: And our MC is finally getting a character development arc, after soo long🥹🥹😭😭

    I intend to post a review about this novel later, but I can leave a warning here: This work is so incoherent, whether it's the characters' motivations, random events, inconsistent rhythm, which NEVER becomes boring.
