    I have a theory that all the reason the forgotten god split into 7 daemons is for more then a reminder of there existence but instead it’s for him to take revenge on them in a more harsher way by intending for the daemons to seep there influence in each of the deity’s domain of power and influence for instance the relationship between weaver the daemon of fate who coincidentally has a fragment of there bloodline called shadow weave or how when weavers bloodline devoured shadow gods lineage at the first chance it got when in contact and how the sun god imprisoned hope and how hope and etc emotions related are normally viewed in a good light or way and sometimes somebody’s passion and hope can be interpreted as the same etc cause there positive emotions or for instance the relationship between the prince of the underworld and storm god or how Ariel the demon of fear seems to have quite the related

    Webnovel situations have been really chaotic this year. For instance, Ri has been removed from Webnovel’s platform, and it’s no longer available on Qidian either. To put it simply, this site is the last place keeping it alive. If it doesn’t get unbanned in the coming years and its popularity fades (as older readers move on and new novels take the spotlight—Like what happened with Primal Hunter and Cultivation Online previous year), it will be tragic. Then there’s LotM 2: CoI. Its ending might leave a mark on the series, with all the buildup across both books not living up to expectations. Sure, the upcoming anime could salvage some of it—or potentially make things worse, especially with the growing toxicity in the fandom. Even with ORV being considered one of the “Big 3” and its anime on the way, I sometimes completely forget about it. And I’m not alone. A lot of readers I see—whether in other interaction platforms or here—mention preferring SS or argue that ORV is overrated, “mid".

      This comment section has a history of ragebaits from other fandoms(especially lotm and Ri), so yeah, it getting ranked below Er Gen novels(coming from you, a Ri fan + Regressor who had a dark history of intentionally using alts to give low ratings to SS just cause he wanted to) triggered some of them.

        Ergen works are all really good, if you are cultivation fan then you should definitely read them. They are very realistic and power system and world building is top notch. I heard that beyond the timescape is best one. Among them.

    I’ve noticed that all my favourite fights in Shadow Slave is when Sunny is on the verge of going insane and is consumed by blood lust (Daerion, Dread Lord, Imp, Dark Ones)

    do you guys think SoS could beat Extraordinary Rock in patience he had to suffer the BS of a corrupted Sunny for thousands of years he should really get a medal for the sacrifice he made so that the third nightmare could be so peak it wasn't the mad Prince who planned all of that but SoS since the only reason he could even stay partially Sane was SoS it was naturally him that orchastrated it all but my goat will always only be remembered by his wisdom not his pain his sacrifice ALL OF IT WAS FOR US THE READERS TO ENJOY PEAK FICTION!!!       I feel like it’s more of the shadow god being the one who recycles the souls into essence aka decomposition which is then given to heart god who shapes them and imbues them with emotions and a heart and molds them and storm god probably sends her minions to guide and transport them to there new life or to the shadow realm which also implies the connections to Greek mythology which shadow slave makes throughout time to time and implies the relationship between the daemon of destiny/choices who is also known as the prince of the underworld and hades main position as a deity is to guide the souls of the dead overall it’s all connected and I feel it’s a reverse hades and Persephone dynamic

      No. Shadow is the god of death besides being shadow god. Reciting a quote, 'Thus, that which was infinite was infinite no more. Endless Space was endless no more. Endless time was endless no more.' He is The End. The living beings who die go to his realm cause he is Death and IT shallows them. Their shadows are recycled to start the cycle of life again with a new soul. + only Shadow was revealed to get the dying souls after death in the novel. There is no reference to Heart God having the souls. But...maybe there is something else that we don't know, who knows? :]

        Honestly, I’m not sure. Perhaps only shadows are sent to the Shadow Realm. There’s a clear distinction between souls and shadows, although G3 has refused to elaborate on this—likely because he has something planned regarding it. This distinction was recently highlighted with the shadows of the dead soldiers, which appear to be somewhat empty (they don't seem to have a soul...) similar to the state of the shadows of the First Cohort in the FS arc. It has also been shown that shadows can exist without souls (the shadows of the 1st gen warriors left behind after their souls were consumed by the creatures of nothingness in the underworld during the FS arc), and that souls can exist without shadows (Mordret’s reflections, which are created from his soul and lack shadows). At the same time, it seems necessary for the soul to pass by the Shadow Realm, as death is what cleanses corruption. All of this is honestly quite complicated. BTW, beast god manages the cycle of life and death.

        I could see what you're saying, but from what we have seen of Shadow Realm and Storm of Essence, the shadows can also be turned into soul essence, these essence are then prepared for creating new souls who will be born again. While there is no mention or clue of souls having to go through that process.
