It's quite good, of course it's not a masterpiece but it's really good at what it's trying to do, which is, a story of a monster. And you know what that means, loads of grinding and it's satisfying as heck when he evolves into a stronger and cooler dragon. It's worth the read if you want something slow and refreshing ^^

Too much sadistic and heavy old drama that it is now stupid, and this degree of detail for some psycho characters is like the writer wishes to teach the world through the readers how to become a psycho or a criminal in 3 steps and how to justify it.

Very interesting main character, good mystery, nice system. I’d suggest buying vol 1 and 2 because the translations are pretty bad. About a third the way through #3 it picks up massively (about chapter 120) would recommend if you enjoy spider or slime as it is in that ball park.

I enjoyed reading the novel but the only problems I felt with it is in the earlier chapters the translations are horrific(they get better later on but still) and how the mc is a bit meh like he’s a human reincarnated into a dragon but his mentality doesn’t change despite going through many life and death situations and is carried by the fact that he gets 2x xp but overall it’s an alright novel

So, i've read 457 chapters already. And i feel like i need to share my opinion. Let's begin with the most important thing: the main story. It's not a masterpiece, of cource. I'd say it's pretty average, but that doesn't mean it's bad. Comparing to the others novels of the same genre it's definitely more unique, and has it's own twists and all that stuff. Of cource, it's almost nothing comparing with "Kumo desu ga, Nani ka?" for example, but I didn't feel bored while reading, and enjoyed pretty much every new arc. The main character: He's a dumbass. And that's for sure. You'd often think something like "why th do you need to help them?!" or "stop being so naive!". And all of that is true. But i think it's great. We've seen too many "cold and spiky" types mh last times, and i'm bored with them already. Especially when the author doesn't know how to write such characters correctly. Irushia (the main hero there) is very kind dragon. He cares for humans and tries everything he can to protect them. We haven't seen such type of a main hero for a long time (or i'm just blind, who knows). And the main hero is great. I like him. So what do we have next. . . Conclusion, I guess? Oh, i forgot about side characters, but who cares about them anyway, right? So conclusion it is. This Novel is not ideal, but i like it. So it's 7. 5 out of 10 in my opinion. Also, please do not bully me if you happen to see any mistakes. I'm only learning English, after all. Just correct me in the comments.

I have to be a hundred percent honest here, this is a pretty good story I would say, but it's just. Unbearably hard to even read. Let me explain. I find it enjoyable the story, the daily life of a baby dragon growing on its own, in a new scary world is interesting. But. It's just too much of themselves being stuck in their head, and a very limited arsenal. Let's say the baby dragon fights. It will inevitably level up or do something crucial last second. It immediately gets repetitive. They're stuck in a forest with little to no interaction. And beyond that, the translation is beyond awful where it hurts my head to read. I thought this would be interesting, but I wasted my time with it. Don't read it, because it will get hard and painful to understand

It was good but gets painfully repetitive. A shame that the author gets stuck in a cycle of the same style of righting and the same narratives over and over

Love the story and the characters are amazing, only downside is that its short so I decided to get back to it later once it has more chapters. :)

the good thing about this is the evolution system that it has and the fact that the mc never got a humanoid form in most monster isekais the mc will get a humanoid form and at that point the fact that the mc is not human is forgotten

I love this novel for the simple fact that MC remains a dragon and doesn’t become human, does he have the ability to become human? has more and limited so he spends most of his time in the form of Dragon if you like an isekai comedy with a touch of RPG you will like this story yes
Does art of human transformation ring a bell?
