After taking my time to read this I can say I enjoyed the novel even more then I expected, There’s just 1 very minor plot hole that annoyed me… but the story and ending are amazing. I give it a 5/5 rating even with a couple of things that annoyed me in this.
If there is anyone wondering if it is worth it to read this short book, I have two things to say to you. 1: This book is so worth reading that you have no idea. It is moderately slow in the start, but it has better fleshed out characters than Shadow Slave, and an incredible ending. 2: Even though you might feel sad that this story is only 108 chapters long, it is much, much longer than that. Every chapter takes about 25-35 minutes to read each. Despite the massive amount of time, the story, magic system, and worldbuilding make it more than worth it in the end. (Side note:) If you have read So I'm a Spider So What?, then this story is JUST as heartwarming. On the same note, if you have finished this novel, check out SIASSW. It is just a downright amazing read.

MoL is a must read Be patient with the story. The chapter count is deceptive, because the chapters are LONGGGG. Think about this like a 500 chapter light novel. The story takes a while to get going, but before you know it, you will be finished with the story and wishing there is more.

Does the author have other novels?
It’s a really short spinoff story in a canon event scenario . MC ain’t MC , he’s the side character that progresses and shows he’s worthy of being MC . Ngl almost 50 chapters on loop repetition was ticking me off but the last few chapters really made the ending feel worth . Simple plot , slow and detailed writing , solid 9.5/10.
