Indulging in Carnal Desire
Chapter 238: [Khan’s Story 30] Hard to control his feelings

The people who were dressed up and disguised as soldiers were surprisingly the princess of Great Chu, Chu Jiao, and the Khan, Hu Luoyan. On the other hand, the one who was sitting at the forefront of the troops on a Ferghana horse was none other than Tuoba Hui, who shared a similar stature to Hu Luoyan.

After personally experiencing the raid attack last night, Hu Luoyan couldn’t risk placing Chu Jiao at a place where he couldn’t see, so he strategically placed her right by his side to feel the most reassured during this journey.

With the ‘princess’ and the ‘khan’ as their enemy’s main targets, the two true masters, Chu Jiao and Hu Luoyan, only needed to quietly stay behind the troop and wait for events to unfold. However, a certain loud-mouthed man didn’t seem to know what the word ‘quiet’ meant. Having decided to pose as a soldier, he was now looking at Chu Jiao, who was dressed in coarse armor and had a flushed face on, feeling distressed.

While the two people were busy bickering with each other, the troops had already reached the middle of the mountains. In the depths of the lush forest, apart from the chirping of insects and birds, only the shuffling sounds of marching soldiers resounded. The mountains’ path was exceedingly narrow, forcing the thousand-man troop to inevitably separate and break form, creating a snake line that spanned beyond a meter long.

But at this moment, an unforeseen event had happened.

A hundred deadly arrows suddenly shot out of the dense forest, heading directly towards the princess who was protected at the center of the group!

“Ahhhhhh!!!!” The girl’s sharp screech resounded from the carriage. Zhe Qie, who was guarding at the side, immediately unsheathed his sword and shouted resolutely, “Protect the princess!”

At the next second, the second round of attack from the thick forest followed.

Countless sharp-beaked birds accompanied by ferocious warblings directed themselves towards the mountains. The skilled soldiers, who were used to dealing with enemies, were caught in a fluster for a moment, never expecting to encounter this kind of ‘enemy’ out here, resulting in several people dropping their weapons on the ground from being pecked and fleeing with their arms covering their heads.

The ‘Khan,’ who was currently situated at the front of the group, also noticed the disturbance in his troops and quickly turned around, attempting to rectify the situation, when suddenly, several men in black jumped out of the forest, surrounding him in a blink of an eye.

For a period of time, the mountain was plunged into utter chaos, and the originally peaceful escort cavalry was suddenly thrown into a disarray.

“Hmph, only third brother would be capable enough of launching such an underhanded attack.”

Hu Luoyan observed the madness occurring in front of him, snorting coldly as he held the reins.

“Aren’t you going to rescue them?” Chu Jiao felt slightly worried. After all, Tuoba Hui, Zhe Qie, and even Hong Xiu were there.

“There’s no need,” Hu Luoyan waved his hand calmly, “Even though Ah Hui’s a bit of a troublemaker, his battle skills are still excellent. This many bandits isn’t a problem for him.”

“As for the others…” Hu Luoyan muttered, and with knowing Chu Jiao’s heart was compassionate, he comforted her, “Third brother only needs to ensure that ‘you’ and ‘I’ are dead, which isn’t too hard to achieve.”

“Then, what should we do now?” Chu Jiao stared at the chaotic warfare happening in front of them and lit a candle for Bi Luo, who was acting as the princess and being protected at this moment.

“We?”

Hu Luoyan chuckled, patting the saddle. His arm drew into an arc as he soared from the back of his horse and landed on the spot right behind Chu Jiao, firmly clamping his legs onto Ta Xue’s belly. His Chi Xue had been handed to Tuoba Hui earlier in order to complete the look of a Khan, but riding on an ordinary warhorse just wasn’t doing it for him. Now that he was sitting on Ta Xue, who had hailed from Da Yuan, he felt more comfortable.

“Don’t you have a saying from Great Chu…The mantis stalks the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind…1To pursue a narrow gain while neglecting a greater danger” Hu Luoyan then held Chu Jiao’s slender waist, rubbing it as he slowly whispered in her ear, “Let’s become the ‘oriole.’”

After he said this, he then held Chu Jiao’s hands, which were gripping the reins, and whipped it, immediately commanding Ta Xue to turn to another direction. As he clamped his legs, the horse then galloped to a side road carrying the both of them, and among the surrounding turmoil, not one person had noticed them.

Hu Luoyan had lived in Xianbei for 30 years, and because he had also started his campaigns in those years, he knew the surrounding terrain like the back of his hand, so he pretty much had a card up his sleeve in this case. He had tread through the Juyong Mountains several times, so he was well aware of all the shortcuts and of where the places to hide people were.

After dealing with his third brother all these years, he spared his life all because of that tiny bit of blood relation that they both shared. However, since his third brother insisted on courting death, then he was not to be blamed if his hand showed no mercy.

If he hadn’t met Chu Jiao and he was all alone right now, no matter how many people make a fuss, he would have just treated this matter as though he was watching an entertaining show. However, now that he had someone precious to protect, he naturally couldn’t idly stand there and watch her get pulled into danger.

After leaving Tuoba Hui in the mountains to confuse the enemy, he took Chu Jiao ahead, intending to bring her to the palace to assure her safety before riding back to meet with his good brother and aide with the battle.

Hu Luoyan brought Chu Jiao to a shortcut, which hadn’t been developed. Ta Xue could only follow the narrow road formed by gaps between the rocks and throttle forward. The road was a lot bumpier than before and there were more slopes as well. Chu Jiao could only tightly hold onto the ropes, while leaning onto the man’s chest behind her.

It was not as though she hadn’t ridden a horse before, but she had never ridden one through such a precipitous mountain. Moreover, with two people riding on one horse, Chu Jiao felt a little nervous, worried that Ta Xue would take an unstable step, throwing the two of them off.

However, before Chu Jiao could even continue feeling nervous for long, the nagging feeling disappeared once she felt a certain part of the man behind her undergoing an immense change.

“Hu Luoyan!” She suddenly straightened her spine, turning her head back to scold him in anger, “Can’t you take note of the current situation? Why are you…”

Why are you getting aroused!?

Hu Luoyan lowered his head and saw his rock hard ‘little brother’ pressing against the feisty girl’s tailbone, putting on an innocent expression.

“You can’t blame me for this.”

Having such a soft and fragrant jade in his arms rubbing against him back and forth, it was hard for him to control his feelings.
