The novel presents an engaging story, but there are a few aspects that left me with mixed feelings. In terms of romance, Ye Zhen’s character struggles with a delayed realization of her feelings. Throughout the narrative, Lu Beichuan consistently demonstrates his love and care for her, yet she remains oblivious to his intentions for much longer than one might expect. Her reluctance to accept his affection leads to not one, but two instances where she attempts to distance herself from him. This seems especially frustrating considering her pregnancy, which makes her decision to run away even more perplexing, as she fails to consider the future of their child in the process. Additionally, the portrayal of Ye Zhen's mother, feels somewhat one-dimensional. Her bias toward her daughter’s older sibling is not only frustrating but also somewhat implausible. The author attributes her emotional detachment to a near-death experience during childbirth, suggesting that this trauma alone is enough to explain her lack of love for Ye Zhen. This reasoning seems a bit too simplistic to be convincing, as it doesn’t fully explore the complexities of a mother’s feelings for her children. On a positive note, I do appreciate the author’s decision to give the story a long timeline, allowing readers to witness the growth of Ye Zhen and Lu Beichuan’s child. This choice adds depth to the narrative and gives a satisfying sense of progression, making it clear how their lives evolve over time. I’m not satisfied with the endings of Meng Jie, You Jing, and Lu Zhan. They feel incomplete, as if the author couldn’t be bothered to give them a proper conclusion. Lu Shaoyan’s ending also feels rushed and forced, as if the author was trying to prevent readers from disliking him too much. It seems like there were many more chapters that could have been written, but the author chose to end the novel abruptly. Overall, while the novel has its flaws, particularly in its character motivations, it does offer a heartfelt exploration of love and family dynamics.

√About the psychological tag, its justified. The novel explores the characters mindset and portrayed them well in a realistic point of view especially about the society and family drama affairs. √The FL was described as composed, smart and sharp character but she always avoid direct confrontations just because she find it annoying. √The ML was written well as a manipulative villain in the earlier chapters but because FL tried to change 'his ways' he became like your any stereotypical cold and indifferent male lead. •For the plot, its common at best, you probably have read some of it for how many times now. •I can see some overused dialogues which would be repeated at least twice a chapters but I guess that should be a minor detail. 7. 8/10. 0

A good story, it became with time one of my comfort's story and some times i reread it. The plot Is good and i like that the characters developer themselves and that they are different from the originale novel

This book is pretty standard for books of this genre although I will say there hardly seems to be any lasting problems. Whenever the villains begin their schemes, the female lead just looks at the male lead and asks, "is this going to be a problem?" and he replies, "Actually, it'll be super easy. Barely an inconvenience. " and then they let the villains run around for a couple chapters before quickly and efficiently ending their schemes. Rinse and repeat. I will give it props for at least attempting to address what the former main character's deal is. In these types of novels where the female lead becomes the villainess in a book she read, the character who had originally been the main character immediately proves to be the worst thing ever, and begins attacking the newly minted MC, and that's always bothered me. You'd think a character worthy of being a main character would be somewhat likeable, even when things don't go their way. This WN at least attempts to give you a glimpse into the former MC's reasoning as to why she sucks.

another cliche novel of overbearing CEO with a transmigrated MC. . personally, i kinda enjoy the story, but the MC’s actions frustrated me sometimes. Especially, in regards to her relationship with the ML. and also when she was always comparing the reality and the novel. She’s always scared that the ML would go down the “crooked” path which showed that she did not trust the ML at all. . and this is still on ch 280+ I freaking hate how the author dragged the MC’s family plot right until the end of the novel. not a bad read, but will not be re-reading it. . the ending felt rushed tbh. . truly enjoyed Zhouzhou’s antics lol no matter how many times they claimed to be “sorry” towards the MC, it’s always insincere, half-hearted apologies (they’re not even apologies, more like asking for financial help when they didn’t even do anything remotely helpful to the MC in her younger days) but i do like the MC’s mother in law and her protectiveness towards her haha

The beginning bits with the "dreams" were really hard to swallow, especially since everyone was so quick to dismiss what happened. Even the MC was all, "I'm a hedonist, so it's fine!" even though there is absolutely no indication that she actually is like that. IF--and that's a big if--one can move past that, this is actually kind of. . . wholesome? The ML is one of those head-over-heels in love doting types, the MC's move from abused and ignored to beloved is worth reading. Lots of cliches, sure, but it's still pretty good.

i read until chapter 180+ but then i quit. it was super good up to that point but i chose not to continue becoz i got the feeling that it will go downhill from then on. so rather then ending up with disapointment, i chose to quit when i'm still happy with it XD

It's a really good story! The misunderstandings can get a bit annoying, but there's progress so it's bearable. There's just the right amount of drama here and there, so I think you'll enjoy having a taste of this novel. I also like the personality of both the ML and FL. They keep their priorities hella straight.

1.5 STAR: Dropped at 140. It was honestly interesting until the evil sister plot came in.
Here are my complaints:
The author writes psychoanalysis about her family members every time they're mentioned. Stop it. Don't spend time on evil sister/mother and a money sniffing father. They're not so complicated.
I don't mind drunk sex or "spicy" content as long as it's fiction but... you know... you drugged your wife... before not even knowing you personally... then continued to have sex with her drugged state... and made a kid with her. It made me questioned their sanity.
Sister swap arc was very annoying.
I couldn't feel any sincerity from this story. FL doesn't even love ML, for fuc sake, it's chapter 140. How long are you gonna made me wait?
There's minimum conversation between ML and FL. Why the topic always comes to what people think about them. Side characters have more dialogue than ML/FL.
The translator did a truly great job, but the plot... wasn't something I'd stay longer.
