How to Survive at the Academy

It’s an ok story so far MC struggles to survive through having nothing besides his skills. However, I’m writing this review mainly because the translation seems to be done by an AI translator with no checking to see if the story still sounds normal. i sadly won’t be reading any further because the translation is just killing my soul to keep correcting it in my head.

14/2/2025 Peak fiction, that is all Okay I'll give a better review (contains minimal spoilers): Good 1. Terms of character development, its not as good as other novel, but still very satisfying character development. Hate me if you want, but I am confident that the side characters are one of the strong suits of this novel 2. As always it is very enjoyable to watch a very knowledgable, smart MC do his thing. On top of that he has incredible spirit and determination, which is inspiring 3. Haram, usually I'd dislike haram, but I think that the heroines are done very well, each given their own personal arcs and development and are important throughout the novel Bad 1. After the 50th chapter it was all MTL (AI) translated, it was incredibly painful to read, the pronouns get mixed up (For Lortelle especially), and the names get changed. I know this isn't the novel's fault but the translator's fault, but come on, there were chapters half missing because Chatgpt said "I cannot translate this due to copyright" or whatever, its crazy how f*ck*ng lazy the AI translator is 2. Ed doesn't have that much development honestly, he was very clear cut from the start which is kind of disappointing 3. the romance doesn't go anywhere, there is little development, but the novel only has like 300 chapters so what did I expect. (Good character development, but bad romance development) Overall If there was better translation, better development, it would be a 5/5, but otherwise it is a 4 stars

The trope of them forcing the mc to not do anything to change the timeline is so d*mn over done and annoying. We all know it got changed as soon as mc is reincarnated and nothing he does will make it go back to normal.

It has good character development, a lot of attention to detail, the fact that the protagonist always wants to predict everything that will happen is a change of pace.

story is good but translation is bad very bad, after 100 chap name gender everything changes I got so confused , and the exaggeration, every time a character reapear or is talked about they give full detail again and again one or 2 times understandable but every time is a bit. I felt 30% or 40% was extra talk rest 70 to 60 % was main point. would have rated higher if translation was good but I am dropping at 104 chap, maybe I will come back who knows.

i really liked the manhwa version. bcz manhwa is fast pace so it's easily entertaining. Novel is GOOD. so much details its good bt sometime its too much narrative also taking

Actually good academy story here. The site does not have the full story but you can read here cause other sites are mtl. The MC is not op and works hard to get strong, he's ok about the plot changing if it's better to him and is an opportunist unlike other MCs who are afraid of the plot changing even a little. The harem is not forced and there is no romance in the chapters in this site, Harem is well thought out. Characters gave actual progression and development so overall 4. 5/5 but the site does not allow that.

So unfortunate that the translation stopped, It's such a good one It deserves to be translated way more than other novels on this site The novel has a very nice thick plot and if not for the two girls fawning over mc that took way too many chapters for my liking, this novel would be a 10

What I can say has already been said, all I know is this novel has loads of potential, if only someone would be it's translator. also I genuinely love the character details and world building, its truly a gem to read that unfortunately MTL just can't replicate.
