I definitely recommend it for reading. The main character: interesting and colourful, but he has incompatible characteristics, such as a fighting maniac who fights hand-to-hand and cunning illusion magic. Secondary characters: the first volume has a really interesting development of friendships and relationships between the characters. In the second volume, the hero's friends serve as an appendage, a stimulus and ballast that constantly cries. They are not characters with their own development arcs, but simply a way of characterising the protagonist. World-building: Not bad, at first glance, but you can't say that the strong one dictates the rules and show how the main character is not attacked in the city because those are the rules. You can't say that mages are scientists and researchers and never show it in practice. You can't say that magicians live with a sharp mind and fight with their fists head-on in a war against crazy animals. Strength: the hero consumes extremely rare potions, materials, and all the author tells us afterwards is ‘he became much stronger’. A striking example is the cultivation technique, the hero got an incredibly cool mana gathering technique and all the author said was that it was cool. How cool is 2 times 20 times or 10%? In other works, a strong foundation is visualised by a core that is twice as big or a colour, but here ‘he became stronger’.

One of the best plots I've ever read within a universe of wizards, our protagonist works very well with the contexts described, his actions are in some way our actions, the comedy, the adventures and his affection for magic captivates everyone who likes this theme. Without a doubt, a work worthy of 5 stars. Congratulations to the author and translators for making this incredible experience of reading this work available to us.

the author borrowed a lot from other novels, but he mixed everything surprisingly well. This is easily one of the best novels out there. 5 of 5 feels not even sufficient to properly measure this masterpiece. if you love shadow slave you will love this as well. The progression is wonderful. its not like your typical MC that destroys planets within 30 chapters, yet i was not bored for a single chapter. i have high expectations for this novel.

This novel deserves a higher ranks. as it not only touches on the fighting or just spamming power upgrades but also the story and details that it worth reading rather than just skip it

I like this kind of novel it's not only focus on fighting but includes mission and investigating that makes the story interesting and exciting when you're reading.

First things first, this novel is not five star, but i want to increase it's value over 4. I'd say 4. 2. Not the most original but magic system is fun, it can be considerate like a fusion between cultivation and classic magic. The story not so original but it's well written and fun to read. Progression of the character is very good to me, you can feel that is hard to progress at every stage, and i love the magic knowledge associated. I suppose this will be a very long story, give it a shot, it's fun.

It’s a great story with amazing potential in my opinion. Definitely not for you if you enjoy super fast paced novels though. Profound power system, good characters, and really deep world building. I think the author sometimes comes up with really witty and interesting lines and dialogues. Honestly read the first 50 chapters and draw your own conclusions, it’s funny how bad most of the reviews are considering this novel is definitely in the top 1%; 99% of web novels are literally steaming piles of hot garbage.

Idk man this seemed to have great potential but the progression is just too d*mn slow for me. I have tried but it’s just getting too boring for me.
