John Browning, a former underworld assassin, went to attend his friend Angele’s wedding party but ended up meeting his former colleagues. Before he could think that the whole wedding ceremony was a setup to catch him, he felt dizzy all of a sudden!
At that moment, he knew that his lifelong friend had already betrayed him and sold him out. John was humiliated in front of hundreds of peoples and was forced to kneel in front of Thomas, the underworld assassin organization leader.
Within a few minutes, they beat him brutally, dragged him to some underground basement, and then locked him in a gloomy room.
John felt bitter when thinking about his friend’s betrayal. He laid on the cold floor for two days and died miserably. But his story didn’t end there.
…
In a world filled with magic and mystic powers, John Browning woke up in an 18-year-old boy’s body. Before he could open his eyes and see his current situation, he felt someone was dragging his body.
'How am I still alive?' He got puzzled inside.
But after a few seconds, John learned from the young boy’s remanent memories that he was transmigrated to a mystical fantasy game-like world filled with magic and mystic powers!

Can anyone tell if this novel is dropped at 729 chapters?
This novel has nothing original or unique but is so well executed that the novel remains exceptional. Probably among the 100 best novels on the site.
I will order to read the first volume ~80 ch to get a general idea of the novel. The first chapters are terrible but improve extremely quickly.
Sigh, this novel is basically abandoned here. It's just me reading and commenting to myself, like a patient with schizophrenia.
-Hard to follow (Due to tons of broken chapters and no good indicators of a POV change) -It's interesting, but the concepts of Memory, Fate, and Time manipulation are incredibly overused just like that one Christmas song (you know exactly which one). -I did feel myself getting increasingly annoyed whilst reading it, to the point of skipping tens of chapters at once just to find some comprehendible bit of text that managed to fit the storyline and didn't just include the drama of the lovestruck clone, the helpless disciples, some side-character that would inevitably die in the next 6-ish chapters, or a broken chapter. | -The concepts are interesting, the storyline is above average and the power system seems somewhat original. -Try it out when you're bored, I certainly did. -(Wrote this at Ch.420)
47 chaps in & I'm wondering if it gets better
Naive and brainless mc Story is too messed up
While other mc have a fortuitous encounter and meet their spirit grandpa, our mc is his own spirit grandpa. What do you say about that???
Not my type novel. I would prefer the novel to start off lightly.
Sheesh broken chapters or misplaced
