Overall, I consider the novel to be average at best. It is true that it offers a certain level of entertainment, but its literary value is close to zero, and the number of weaknesses, deficiencies, and the lack of skills of the author make reading the novel more difficult than necessary. I wanted to read the entire novel before finishing it, in order to be able to offer an impression of the entire work, and not just the first piece, especially because on some occasions (rare for my taste, it should be more), you can see the author grow as a writer, something that is appreciated. To begin with, it is important to point out that the novel has all the errors and clichés of the web novel genre originating in China, fortunately not as heavy as in other works, but still, marked enough to make it more difficult to read. The artistic vice that I personally find most detestable in Chinese web novels is the descriptive mechanism that the authors use to offer details, atmosphere, and context to something: for entire paragraphs, they abuse a few words to say the same thing three times, something that they repeat insistently throughout the story, to describe the same situation; how great, powerful, and fierce the character is, becomes an artifact, to which a limited lexicon and an exaggerated use of adjectives are added; a truly irritating habit that makes reading an exhausting experience. Something to regret in the author's writing is the lack of basic literary skills, the way in which the reference parameters are established lacks consistency, forcing the reader to make too many logical leaps, and affecting the reading of the story; it is possible to see other examples of this in the handling of the temporal reference in the narration, or the way in which they establish the scales of power. Like other novels of the genre, the author insists with great force on the description of fights, an exhausting and meritless custom that seems to seek only an effective impact, but that even impoverishes the story; it is fortunate that the author does not waste much space in the story on fights, but an average of two and a half chapters dedicated to each fight is a real shame. And let's not even talk about the way the author handles the main character's sentimental relationships. On the subject of love, a problem that I find, and that I think is something very serious, is the great insistence of the author in the description of the intimate relationship of the main character with a pre-adolescent girl. I understand that sexual tension in a story is an effective hook, and its implementation is easy, so it is a recurring narrative instrument, if we add to that that few things attract avid audiences, like the category of the harem, it is understandable that the idea is used; My opposition comes from the insistence on specifically delving into that relationship, it is an element that makes me question the quality of the author's moral fiber. Of course, there are readers in the comments who touched on the subject, with a position of rejection similar to mine, in the face of what other readers mention as the age of consensus being 14 years in China; in the face of these responses, some questions arise in me: was it really necessary to touch on that subject within the story? If we are talking about Nabokov's work, yes, that is the center of everything, but here? Another thing, when so much effort is made to justify something like this, it is difficult not to give the impression of being a pedophile.

Ending was pretty rushed, some characters didn’t get done justice. (like all fmc) Overall a good read, I just really hate the first that Zi he meets in the first chapter. She’s such an entitled *ssh*l*, it’s disgusting. I would’ve been satisfied if the MC choose anyone but her as the first wife, but no, f*ck*ng politics.

In my opinion is a hybrid of a fairy tale combined with young adult, disguised as cultivation novel. A pretty decent ending, though still lacking for my taste. I enjoyed the ride. There are not inappropriate things in this novel - in my humble opinion , so give it a try.

Up to 295 ch. Polarizing Mc, sometimes really good, sometimes really bad, and it can go from one extreme to the other really fast. The development is entertaining and annoying, enemies coming back multiple times, daily life narration that gets repetitive(same events and same dynamics), annoying female lead(it is 14 yo but seems to be 10 or less). The middlescholer female lead thing is handled really well at the beginning, there isn't a romantic plot there, just circumstances, plus the threat to the Mc's life work pretty well to make that situation passable for the reader. The plot is OK, cultivation and all that comes with it, rules that are useless later on, advancements in realms that instead of getting slower just get faster, mortal injuries that aren't really mortal, etc. Overall there are annoying situations, some good interactions here and there, and a few character's developments that are really well done. Finally there is a thing that made me begin to skim through some chapters and finally stop, from the 200ch there was a repeated situation where the Mc would do anything that the female lead tells him to do, it's kind of hard to explain why these situations are so bad and how detrimental are to the story, they are just unbearable to read.

I really enjoyed the story but I was really disappointed that several of the chapters in the middle of the book weren't fully transcribed. I had to go to another site to get the full chapters. I prefer the format of this site, so after I read the missing chapters on the other site I returned here to finish the story.

Above average characters. What I mean by this is that the characters while two (sometimes one) dimensional, they stay consistant. I do not mean they

❤ this novel is great eventhough the mc is dull and a little bit too much stundereness the ending hits the spot 😂 but i hope it doesnt end 🙏 duan yao need to return
And i recommend manga adaptation👌

One of the most refreshing romance novels I've read ever. I balances the romance and cultivation very well and asides from being very slow to progress I highly recommend it.
