Chapter 1269: Why is Everyone Gathered Here?

"Let me explain…" Seeing the confusion on Qing Yi's face along with the disbelief on Chu Yang and Chun Hua's faces, Xuan Hao decided to step forward to explain what had happened while observing the drastic change in Qing Yi's expression when she heard that she had broken through to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm with the help of some kind of strange ball of fire that had been made by Mui.

"This… Thank you for the helping me breaking through to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm and stabilizing my cultivation base, I really don't know what else to say…" Calming down quickly after listening to Xuan Hao explain what had happened, Qing Yi rushed over and thanked Mui for her help.

"Hehe, no need to thank me, I just didn't want to wait for weeks until senior sister stabilized her cultivation base." Smiling proudly, Mui looked like she had planned out everything from the start as she said this.

Watching Qing Yi and Mui talking happily with each other, Chu Yang and Chun Hua could not help silently thinking about what would have happened if the ball of fire hadn't been perfectly absorbed by Qing Yi, but instead blew up instead.

From a metal ball that could create countless balls of ice that seemed to increase in strength along with the strength of the user to a metal ball that could grow without a limit and used to smash into opponents as long as there was enough qi, Mui's fighting style was unpredictable and hard to counter.

Even when all three of them tried to team up on her with their Nascent Soul Realm cultivation base, none of them were able to win against her and only after Xuan Hao put a ban on her using her metal balls, did she return to the level of an ordinary Nascent Soul Realm cultivator

After all, his goal with them having a few practice battles was for them to practice some of the techniques he taught them together. Not for Mui to single-handedly beat up the others with her strange creations.

In the end, all four of them were fine with this and continued practicing together even after Xuan Hao finished teaching them what he had planned to teach them.

Of course, Xuan Hao was overjoyed to see this as it meant his disciples got along well with each other. Although, he did feel that it was a bit of pity that Bai Ning wasn't around, so he decided to pay a visit to the Sea of a Thousand Furnaces to check up on him and see if he could get him to join the rest of his disciples after he finished crafting the Mystic Grade Greatsword he had seen him working on while watching over Qing Yi during her breakthrough.

In the end, as he arrived in front of Bai Ning's forge, he was surprised to see that outside of the rhythmic sound of a hammer hitting metal echoing out from inside of the forge, there was also a large number of people gathered around the forge with looks of anticipation on their faces as they looked towards the interior of the forge where Bai Ning was located.

Not just that, but most of these people were Domain Lord Realm elders of the sect who had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm after he installed the Dao Enlightenment Monument.

Wondering what all of these elders had gathered together for in front of his disciple's forge, Xuan Hao suddenly sensed someone new arriving as he turned around with a look of shock on his face.

Also sensing the person who appeared, all of the elders looking towards Bai Ning's forge filled with anticipation turned around with shock in their eyes.

Indeed, the person who had appeared was none other than Feng Chen, who had been using most of his time trying to improve his cultivation over the past few months. Not wanting to be left behind and surpassed by the large number of elders who had broken through to the Domain Lord Realm following the installation of the Dao Enlightenment Monument by Xuan Hao.

In the end, he had managed to break through to the Fourth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm a few months ago and looking at him now, Xuan Hao could see that he had already managed to reach the peak of the realm and was only a single step away from breaking through to the Fifth Stage of the Domain Lord Realm.

Out of everyone in the sect, who had managed to reach the Domain Lord Realm before the Dao Enlightenment Monument's introduction, he was the one who had benefited the most from the looks of it.

"What are all of you doing here!?"

Showing a clear look of confusion on his face upon seeing so many elders standing around the forge of a disciple, Feng Chen couldn't help freezing on the spot as he asked the group of elders.

"Sect master, we are here because we heard news of Grand Elder Xuan's disciple being in the process of crafting a Mystic Grade Sword and all of us wanted to come and take a look before it gets taken away by Elder Song."

Even in a massive empire like the Blue Sea Empire, it was hard for anyone below the Late Stage of the Domain Lord Realm to afford something like a Mystic Grade Weapon, let alone someone in the First Stage of the Domain Lord Realm…
