I was thinking something. This novel is called "Abe the wizard" not "Abe the knight", "Abe the blacksmith", "Abe the alchemist" or "Abe the magic knight". I mean, the title itself tells you that the focus is on the protagonist being a wizard, but I read below that the depth of magic system is poor and the handling of that system is even poorer, barely getting any prominence. Why can't we have good mages novels besides Warlock of the Magus World, which ironically has no "Mage" for a title? I'm tired of these fraudulent novels and their hybrid Mage-Knight protagonists.
I really hope this book has a continuation.
After ch700+-, author is trying to keep up with all the stuff happening in the story, trying to make all the concepts in the world more lenient, basically it goes like this: Abel: -I got this trinket from the dungeon, then unexpectedly leveld up!! "Half a chapter explaining why this happened" Narrator: "But of course, Abel can't now any of this" I can't keep up with it, author also can't, at some point just too much bs is going on and priorities in story be it side character interactions or Abel's actions are all over the place Enjoyed first half though

Really enjoyed start but nearing mid story it feels so stale and it keeps repeating same formula and the mage path is not bit explored apart that theres different levels and thats it. If novel name is abe the wizard I hoped there would be more in depth explaining of wizard spells and how to level up
I'm at chapter 50, and the biggest problem rn is the translation itself. Like it's not bad in the traditional sense, but you can just sense that this was an amateur translator, some sentences and phrases are just wayy to awkward

Fun read and interesting concept, you don't even really need to be that knowledgeable about diablo to enjoy it. If you still thinking about reading it or not I'd give it a chance.
