    This novel is certainly balanced but it is too balanced without having something just straight to the peak, people who enjoy novels which has much much gore stuff in it will probably find this novel no to their liking

      I mean, you can like both. Might have a preference for one or the other, but just because you like pizza doesn't mean you don't like sushi too. I'm just looking for good cultivation stories with good worldbuilding. Balance is literally part of cultivation. Yin and yang. So having a balanced story... could literally be perfect for a cultivation story. But it all depends on how it was written. I really just want crafting arcs... I want like a blacksmith formation creating alchemist that makes hidden weapons and Jiangshi... or something like that. Heck, I'd even be fine with a merchant themed cultivation story. Maybe the main character creates an escort agency. I've just read a LOT of cultivation stories, so just looking for the things that aren't the same old same old. Going to keep reading reviews to see if this is worth starting.

      It isn't very good, but the reason probably has nothing to do with anything you might guess. To describe it basically, the author -by his own words- didn't know how to write a female, but more importantly the plot of the regression turn in which the romance happened was problematic all around. There was another romance in a later regression turn for reasons I can't comprehend but it is basically forgotten shortly after he regresses again. The novel is very good regardless of the flawed romance though. Don't think of the romance as a central element. It is simply a means towards making our MC feel even more sadness and pain 😢
