All in all, the story was a fun read. It's just that there were some unexplained or unresolved issues. Like what was the thing that was found in Prince Yu's house. And what's with the 'other monk' that was not able to meet with Shen Miao. What happened to the crippled Ye son who looked like her previous son? Things like that. I feel that the end of Prince Fu (ex-hubby) was too short and unsatisfying. He could have lived for a few months and feel frustrated in loosing everything with his eyes wide. He died easily for my taste. After all, he did cause the death of his children with SM. The others had far more gruesome experience. But then again, it was fun reading it the whole week. In general, the revenge parts were great.

Overall plot and storyline is good. But too long winded on people descriptions again and again. Worth reading The plot at Great Liang is rather disappointing as it lacks showing MC strength

This story will make you laugh and cry. It's excellently written and the story does not fall into clichés. Shen Miao is an unwavering character that will make you root for her. The author reaps more praise on Xie Jing Xing than even on Shen Miao so enough said on that front, but he becomes more and more adorable as the chapters go by. The backstory is well written and pretty sinister, making one feel bad for the cr*p the FMC went through, but all the more her intelligence piques interest as a result. Some plot points do get unused but it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things as the author writes the latter half of the story well enough to cover all such loopholes. This is a novel I'll definitely reread.

Dropped around Ch 150. Too slow for my taste, same plot over and over again. Not grow for the fl and, for the mc. . . The autor make you not liking him by adding 10 lines of how beautiful he and his eyebrows, lips, nose, hands and every inch of his body are, EVERY time he appears wich is funny 'cause for the fl he always writes she's not the big deal but she walks so nice 👍🏻 Its really good for reading while you're waiting for other novel to update chapters or brainoff reading though.

It is the first novel with a female protagonist that I have read, but I loved it. I was really surprised by how well written and told this story is. The characters are great and the setting is wonderful too. Totally recommended.

This is my 6th time reading this. There are some terms people use to interact with others, which might be little bit confusing, especially the ones which shows status. So it will take some time to get used to these. The grammer and wordings are used in a way which gives it a Ancient feel. . . or maybe I'm just crazy, but readers may find it hard to get used. If you understand this story, you will definitely enjoy it 😁.

Overall the plot story is impressive. . it's just there's one character that i dislike. . Luo Tan ಠ⁠︵⁠ಠ character seems useless for me. . anyway it's good

I honestly loved it. The revenge, the ml and mc, the schemes and the stone heart of the mc slowly chipping to lead the way to boundless love and loyalty for the ml- who- himself is really strong and loving, and so so amazing. Tbh the ml is made to be this all-powerful-OP guy which isn't exactly likeable but he makes it up with his pitiful acts and mc being his weakness. . . idk I loved him *shrug* On the point of the revenge, the schemes by mc are entirely ruthless and cruel. But tbf they deserved it. It's just that- since she regressed in the start there isn't enough hate from pov of readers but it's all fine. As the ml comes, it becomes easier to deal with the enemies yet all so risky- the stakes increase, the risks taken on each step increase. Loveable characters: 10/10 Ruthless plot and revenge story to the end: 10/10 Ending 11/10 Backstory and past: extremely sad 10/10

Story a bit too slow to my taste. The ML is also a bit too beautiful. I mean each times he appears we get ten lines to describes how the universe never saw such beauty before. Good MC tho. Nice scheming too but starts to feels like it's kind of the same at some point : random ennemy try to crush without reason, fails, convince himself it's all MC's faultthat it backfired, plot again but she still gets underestimated. . . it's not perfect and not really my cup of tea. But I understand that those who likes this genre can like it.

if you like watching ancient costume romance Cdrama with strong FL, than this is your cup of tea. lots of scheming, plotting and revenge in a smart and satisfying way. whats good: - story 9/10 - FL and ML charachter, development and chemistry : 10/10 need improvement: - author excessively describe the goodness of ML till at some point the translator also leaves some comment. . its quite funny though - some plot hole - translation - sometimes put name wrongly and makes reader confuse but not in a way that you cannot understand the story (I am grateful for the translator though for their hard work, without them I cannot enjoy this story) overall 5 stars because it really tick all of my preference thank you author and translator!!😊💖
