The Mirror Legacy

This is five stars. I love the concept and the world building is 10/10, the characters feel real and they make real human decisions. I like how meticulous and cautious everyone is without it being to overbearing. I love the way the story centers around the characters and I love how the battles are described and the way everything flows. The story flows very well, not to slow or to fast. 10/10 A real good story

This is really good. Everything from storyline, plot, characters, and world-building is solid. Even the pacing is good, slow when there are a lot of things happening, and multi-year time skips when there is nothing happening. The characters are very smart and more realistic than your average delusional and psychopathic cultivators. People don't go on slaughters without purpose and people don't go around spewing scenes. The characters also know when to be ruthless and when to lay low. The plot and world are also very intricate with many mysteries and schemes brewing in every sect and family. The family we follow is no exception as they have their share of shrewd moments. You won't really find any characters acting without their fair share of emotions and when needed, ruthlessness. You also won't find many kind-hearted people because, after all, this is a cultivation world. As nice as things may look on the surface, underneath si always a current brewing from the ambitions of the strong. everyone is just ants, pans in their game of chess and profit.

Honestly first time reading a novel with such a concept and the author is cooking pretty good rn, the execution could be a bit better with more attention on emotions of the characters but even now it did make me feel sad and happy with the characters on many occasions. The cultivation system and the whole world has not been clarified and expanded so im looking forward to that. That might decide if this novel ends up as a flop or not. But at the moment im enjoying it. Also hated to see that grey button so 5 stars from me
