Not going to lie, I like the novel, but the magic science explanation is overwhelming. It contributes very little to the plot. I mean, a 200-word para would still suffice and would have the same impact as writing 5K words, just explaining fantastical concepts that are malleable and change every 5 chapters. I am not hating on it. It was fun in the beginning, but over time, the over-detailed explanation of fantastical concepts has grown stale on me and does nothing more than increase my blood pressure and make me skip paras over paras, inevitably missing important info. Other than that, it is a good novel. I have been reading it for nearly 7 years now, and it is my first light novel. I love it to death, but yeah, lately it has become less about the progression of the plot and more about dragging it with sloppy magic science. Sorry for the rant, lol. Turtle inspired me to write OG story of my own, just find it weird how it's devolving. Anyways, Tchuss.
How it feels seeing your favourite piece of fiction slowly getting butchered. First with fuyuki leaving, bunch of hiatus making the webcomic hype die and now finally the anime sh*tt*ng on the legacy of tbate. It would've been better if there was no anime at all. No author just randomly gives his 10 years of work to some random studio. I am heavily influenced by the opinion that turtleme knew what he was doing and this is all just a cash grab for him. It hurts so damm much seeing other series getting all the goodies. Thinking about the potential of tbate, what could it have been. Welp.
"The end before the frames" hit hard. Especially when you learn the author chose that studio for logically no reason. Everything we saw is a fan animation guys we still didn't get an anime adaptation so trust.
TBATE fans are going to crash out if the Author reveals that the other options were > Mappa > MadHouse > Studio Bones > Kyoto > Wit > Sunrise > A-1 > Pierrot > Trigger (Just one of em being in the list would be enough)

Assassination squad lead by Aldir was failed fbecause of they were trapped in relic tombs and killed by wraiths and aether dependent beasts and they ignored was relic tombs traps. That's why TM gave some nerf arthur and trapped in relic tomb and shows some similarity to assassination squad and arthur lead dicathen army in this way TM connecting some dots to assassination squad and dicathen army in ch.515,516

So guys, I stopped reading shortly after Sylvie came back, is it true that Nico and Cecilia were simply reincarnated and are living a good life after everything they did? Did Arthur really join the Asura after everything they did to the Djinn and the people of Dicathen/Alacrya? Did Tessia survive? Have my babies Varay, Bairon and Mica become strong? And the goat regis continues badass? Anyway, I don't think I'll ever read this story again, I was very disappointed with what I read.
