Does anyone know the chapter where Klein fights 1v3 (or 4) against pirates while Danitz watches? They get a magic carpet afterwards if I remember correctly I want to reread the chapters from Klein Seq 6 to Seq 3
I am at chapter 143, so far liking the story a lot. The style of the story is quite inline with the title haha. Whenever Klein goes into the room in the fog I always think of the Velvet Room from Persona and I like to imagine the theme of the Velvet Room playing when stuff is happening in the fog world. Kinda like how in Persona 4 the Velvet Room as it manifested as the back of a limo would be driving through a sea of fog. Additionally, the involvement of tarot and the major arcana lead me to make a lot of connections.
Imagine calling Lotm peak fiction when it reads like an eldritch-themed LinkedIn simulator. Klein wakes up updates his resume with “half-god in training,” hosts a meeting , my guy just ascends by drinking flavored trauma and calling it a potion 😭😭🙏🙏🙏. Every arc is just: “Ah yes, I’ve uncovered a deep, hidden conspiracy… time to sit and think for 12 chapters straight.” meanwhile fans be foaming at the mouth because he blinked in a certain direction that might reference Chapter 347 ah and roselle he left behind a journal full of shower thoughts and bad life advice, and everyone be treating it like sacred scripure at least real horror stories try to scare readers, not bore them into existential dread, but hey if tea parties and tarot cards are your idea of godhood, who am I to judge? 😮😮💨💨
While reading shadow slave I kinda made up my mind that it's at the peak and nothing can compare. I planned to not bother reading Lotm and Ri. But after reading Lotm my views changed, both have amazing world building and characters, just as attached, if not more to Klein and the tarot club members as to sunny and the cohort. I can't wait for Klein to wake up. Am going to circle of inevitability and after that I'll try RI. Wish me luck.
