Summary

[Infinite Regression Genre] In any fantasy novel, regression is a guaranteed cheat key!

What if it’s the ability of [Infinite Regression]?
There’d be no need to worry about any bad endings. After all, the protagonist would eventually reach a happy ending.

“Cheat key, my foot.”

I tried it myself just to find out otherwise.

The myths of regressors’ success depicted in all those novels are actually fake…
It was all just vile propaganda!

“This run is doomed too.”

This is not a story of success; it’s a tale on the aftermath of failures.
Thus begins the heartfelt documentary of a man with 1183 runs of experience!

The chronology killed it for me. I am all for experimental story telling. But constantly going through chapters of time going forward and back just made the story unappealing to me. I respect what it was going for though

there is no news about it from author. Why wait on a very good novel only to read sh*ts to satiate your hunger. I am sure that people who say that they will wait for a novel to end then only read will NEVER COME BACK, a lot can happen in a year. Its all b*llsh*t talk ME myself waited till the end of 3rd nightmare to read SS but never picked it up now.

Shadow slave really falls off in quality after 3rd nightmare(barely any lore development and world building, very corny and forced romance and ungodly amount of filler for 400+ chapters), but since it was really consistent for so long, there still is a chance that it can make a comeback if author takes a break to plan sh*t out.

This story is better than sss hunter and as the first chaoter said it's not a story of success but series of failures. This novel has the best climaxes ever.

i know but the author of sss class suicide hunter wasnt able to deliver a good ending so i hope nothing like that will happen here

The thing is by the nature of the story it doesn't really have an ending and if it does it's not going to be a real ending

I stopped this a while ago just to stuck up chapters and now I’m trying to read it but I don’t know who’s who I just know undertaker the the saint and the one who must not be named the pink entity so I would appreciate it if someone could remind me of their names and Roles just the main ones by the way the last character appeared for me was the disciple of undertaker

The translation moved from We Tried Translations to Reaper Scans. That's why there isn't any new chapters. Reaper Scans has 4 new chapters that aren't in this site

Very good novel with refreshing concept. But, the stories are just a bunch of fillers with the main story progression sprinkled around here and there. It is enjoyable at earlier chapters but it gets tiresome at around 100+ chapters. Might consider dropping this.

it got tiresome because you read too much at once. this was never meant to be binged read, just read one or two story before you sleep. trust me its more enjoyable that way, reading this even one arc more will burn you out.
